[Faculty] Class Management
HowTo: View Class Load and Schedule | Input Grades | Submit Change Grade
A class is a subject or course offered in a given term or academic year that has a defined number of students, schedules, and instructors.
The Class Page
The Class Page in the Grado Faculty Portal provides teachers with a centralized view of each class they handle.
From this page, you can view student details, open the grade sheet, and download essential class reports.
It serves as your main workspace for managing class records and grade submissions.
Key Features
1. Course Information
At the top of the page, you’ll find the course title, section code, and unit count for quick reference.
This confirms that you are viewing the correct subject and section.
2. Downloadable Reports
The course information card includes two quick-access download buttons:
- Class List – Exports the current student roster.
- Grades List – Exports all recorded grades for the class.
Both downloads open in a new browser tab and begin automatically.
3. Class Schedule
A summary card on the right-hand side displays your class schedule and assigned room.
Use this to confirm when and where your class sessions are scheduled.
4. Student List and Grade Access
The Student List table displays all enrolled students and their corresponding grades.
Columns include student number, name, term grades, overall grade, and status.
- Hover over a grade to view the raw score.
- Colored highlights indicate the grade’s status (see the Legend above the table).
- The Change Grade Request and Other Actions columns may display additional buttons when available.
To encode or update grades, click Open Grade Sheet.

- Sortable Table: The student table can be sorted by clicking on column headers (if JavaScript is active).
- Hidden Actions: Buttons under Change Grade Request or Other Actions appear only when permitted or when specific conditions are met (e.g., pending grade change).
