Academic Year
The period of the year during which students attend an educational institution. In Grado, it is the basis or is tied to the student's progress in the curriculum as well as section schedules and offerings.
Academic Year Rollover (AY Rollover; Rollover)
Academic Year Rollover: An automated process advancing students to the next term or academic year. It evaluates student eligibility, considering criteria like financial standing and passed marks. Additionally, it may generate sections based on enabled templates, facilitating class organization for the upcoming term/year.
Account
Refers to different user accounts. See User Account Types.
Add Matriculation
Refers to registration of additional subjects after enrollment.
Administrator (abbr. Admin)
A user who has access to Admin Type accounts.
Adviser
User with Faculty Account type given with the ability to approve or reject a specific student's reserved subjects. Not to be confused with Homeroom Adviser.
Advising
Process by which a member of the faculty evaluates a student's enlisted subjects and advisesoffers accordinglyadvice whetheron toclass approve or disapproveselection based on student's program eligibilities and curriculum requirements.
Assessment
Process by which all fees that a student is required to settle are computed.
Assessment Templates
Used to help calculate tuition and fees based on student's year level, education programs, and payment options. It can also display discounts or scholarships that may be applied.
AWOL / Absence Without Leave
Refers to a student status that carries with it restrictions when enrolling.
