[Admin] Class Management

HowTo: Create and Edit Class | Un/Publish Class | Enlist/Delist Students | Download Class and Grades Lists
A class is a subject or course offered in a given term or academic year that has a defined number of students, schedules, and instructors.
Creating a class
- On the navigation menu, go to Semester Management > Classes.
- Click + Class.
- Specify the following:

Term

Class Name
-
Subject
-
Faculty
-
Slots. The maximum number of students who can enlist.

Visibility (public / private)

Approver. Select the name of the faculty authorized to approve grades (if Grades Approval is enabled).
Editing a class
On the navigation menu, go to Semester Management > Classes. Find the class to be edited and click the class name. On the Class view page, click the edit or pencil icon.Slots. The maximum number of students who can enlist.

Adding or enlisting students to a class
On the navigation menu, go to Semester Management > Classes.Find the class to enlist students in and click Enlistment View.
On the Enlist students to this class view, simply click or tap the name of the students to select. When done, click the Enlist Students button.
Removing or delisting students from a class
On the navigation menu, go to Semester Management > Classes.Find the class to delist students from and click Enlistment View.
On the Delist students to this class view, simply click or tap the name of the students to select. When done, click the Delist Students button.
Downloadable class records
These records are available for download by class level:
Publishing a class is helpful when student self-enrollment is enabled. A published class is viewable in the student portal when self-enrolling, allowing the student to select the class and enlist in it.
Class-Section-level enlistment is also available. This means that a classstudent mayadded notto necessarilya section can be aautomatically part of a Section. A student enlistingenlisted to a class mayif notthat necessarilyclass belongis included in that section. Likewise, if a class is added to a section and students are already defined in that section, too.those students will be enlisted to that class being added.
